Hello and welcome to Feather & Foxgloves first blog! My name is Emily and I am the founder of Feather & Foxglove. I'm a lover of everything natural and the environment, I guess that comes from my up bringing of growing up on family farm in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. I like to take this love into my floral art encompassing natural beauty and experimenting with textures to create soft yet vibrant bouquets.
A few facts about me...
- I'm self taught at what I do, but am venturing back into life as student to study floristry to learn the art of wedding and sympathy flowers
-My favorite flower is the foxglove... cliché I know with the name! I just love how it looks like it belongs in fairy tale and its gorgeous bell shaped petals or some may call hats are like a little homes to humble bumble bee!
-I've recently left a full time career to pursue my dream of having my florist work shop on the farm- Scary! but I'm not looking back and still pinch myself that I'm on this thrilling exciting journey of building my own business
Although I am the founder of FF I have the amazing support of my glamorous assistant Yvonne (My mum!) who helps me with the other side of the business of our luxury handmade wax melts & candles.
This year is all about showcasing what we do! We are excited to attended local summer events (yay!!!) with seasonal bouquets, gorgeous modern dried flowers and of course of line of gifts from candles to vases to wax melts and new to our range our natural wardrobe fresheners.
